One of the warmest places to visit in Udaipur at night is the Bagore ki Haveli. Built by Amir Chand Badwa at the banks of Pichola lake, the Haveli was a miniature model of the City Palace. The government has restored and converted the place into a museum with an array of artifacts inside it.
The museum has various sections: the puppet museum, the haveli museum, the turban section, the weapons section, and the wedding section, and the Dharohar dance show starts at around 07:00 PM in the courtyard known as the Neem Chowk. The main attractions are several Rajasthani folk dances like Chari, Terah Taal, Gorbandh, Ghumar, and Bhavani. One can also see a puppet show.
Indian
adults can enter the museum premises with a 60 INR ticket, children for 30 INR, foreign adults for 100 INR, and foreign children for 50 INR. To watch the show, Indian adults and children need 90 INR and 45 INR tickets, respectively, while foreign adults
and children need 150 INR and 75 INR tickets each. The museum is 4 km away from the central city and is one of the main attractions of Udaipur city.
